Patrick Firth covers a wide variety of issue areas including agriculture, energy, food, tax, and trade. In addition, he has successfully advocated for client priorities on general appropriations and procurement issues. Patrick has been a member of client servicing teams that have successfully secured critical tax incentives, essential tariff exclusions, beneficial appropriations, and authorization language, and was a key leader on a project that secured a $43 million cooperative agreement between the U.S. Government and a client. He also regularly travels to present to clients and conferences on policy updates, political/election analysis, and general industry trends through the lens of federal public policy priorities. On Capitol Hill and across federal agencies, Patrick enjoys strong relationships with key staff and policymakers. These relationships have opened doors for clients and resulted in opportunities to solve critical problems and advance business priorities.

Patrick is a leader in Maryland politics and is the first Chair of the Talbot County Democratic Party to oversee a Democratic presidential victory since 1964. Talbot Democrats doubled down on that victory two years later with Governor Wes Moore’s sweeping 2022 victory in Talbot County, a key testament of Firth’s rural and grassroots Party and coalition-building organization skills. Under Patrick’s leadership, the Democratic National Committee selected Talbot County as a pilot program for a new direct voter registration initiative, which was subsequently deployed across Maryland and nationwide. Patrick volunteers in the recruitment and training of candidates and volunteers, oversees field and data organizing operations and assists with regional and statewide strategic planning with the Maryland Democratic Party. He’s certified by the National Democratic Training Committee to conduct political training seminars for candidates, volunteers, organizers, and activists on political strategy, as well as communications and social media “best practices.” Most recently, Patrick was in Georgia helping Get Out The Vote operations for Senator Raphael Warnock’s (D-GA) runoff election. He served the then-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) worked for the Senate Democratic Steering and Outreach Committee, and previously served as Chief of Staff to the President for Young Democrats of Maryland.
