Senate Republicans Publish Farm Bill Proposal

On Tuesday, June 11, Ranking Member John Boozman (R-AR) of the Senate Agriculture Committee released a Senate Republican-drafted framework proposal for the 2024 Farm Bill.

“From the onset of this process, we have sought to draft a farm bill that reflects the needs of stakeholders. The world has changed dramatically since the 2018 bill became law, and the unprecedented challenges and economic uncertainty that farmers face now are only projected to get worse in the coming years," said Senator Boozman in a press release on June 11.

This outline follows the House Republican proposal, as well as the Chairwoman Stabenow's Senate Democratic proposal, from last month. You can review the Constitution Partners comparison writeup here.
